High-precision torque transmission and exact measurement results

The functional element of the backlash-free Spinplus coupling consists of a highly specialised steel with significant bending strength. In keeping with the high requirements of the latest servo- and high-resolution measurement technology, this functional element, which is based on the principle of a parallel link system with flexure joints, is sized, FEM-optimised and designed specifically for the application it is intended for. In addition to the universal displacement compensation in one plane, it also enables high torsional stiffness and torque transmission for this coupling optimised in terms of rotational inertia.
