FEM-OPTIMISED DISC PACKAGE ENSURES HIGH TORSIONAL RIGIDITY AND TORQUE TRANSMISSION

The design of the 6-bolt disc package has been calculated and optimised on the basis of FEM analyses. Layered, flexurally elastic discs made of stainless steel form a lamination package with outstanding torsional stiffness and torque transmission capacity. This enables use in precision applications in the high power range. The product range of the backlash-free coupling covers a nominal torque range of up to 1,000 Nm.
