OPTIMAL SMOOTH RUNNING IN HIGH-SPEED OPERATION

Drives, for example in machine tools or automatic placement machines, are increasingly operating in higher speed ranges. The reasons for this are mostly increased productivity requirements and ever higher output rates of these systems. However, high-speed applications can also be found in measuring setups for testing test specimens. Speeds of 15,000 rpm and above are commonplace both in test benches and in high-speed machining of workpieces. Vibrations caused by imbalance in the system must be minimised in order to obtain accurate measurement results or increase machining precision, while at the same time optimising the service life of spindles, spindle bearings and tools. .
