Paper machines

For the strength and uniformity of a paper quality, it is important that fibres are not only oriented in the longitudinal direction, but are laid on the wire in mixed fibre orientation. This is achieved by a transverse movement and shaking of the breast roll and, as a result, of the wire. In the drive of this shaking unit, the Semiflex coupling with a clamping hub design ensures the precise eccentric movement and, thus, optimal fibre orientation and quality of the end product.  

 

Lining and laminating systems

When laminating boards for the furniture industry, even and accurate application of decorative materials is required.
The Semiflex coupling provide a precise and compact drive for the adjustable application rollers involved in the laminating process, which apply the laminating agent with lacquer and glue to the base as a protective or decorative surface.
The Semiflex coupling is also used for laminating and processing edge profiles, in laminating systems for feeding and pressing decorative surfaces or for driving trimmers and edge application.

 

Plastic machines

Food production

The products to be processed run through different chambers for multiple treatment processes, such as the heat treatment and cooling sections. Due to these different temperature ranges, displacements of several millimetres occur, which can be compensated for by the Semiflex coupling.
