One of the strengths of the Semiflex coupling is the ability to compensate for high radial displacements without taking up much space – lots of power in a compact design. The comprehensive range of standard couplings is available to compensate for this up to 33 mm displacement and covers a torque ranging from 40 to 14,500 Nm.
However, it is not uncommon for the SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG design department to get very specific customer requirements. These include, for example, additional tensile and compressive forces, vacuum conditions or special environmental conditions such as fast acting surfactants, organic acids or seawater from cleaning operations, food processing or offshore applications. The answer to all of this are coupling solutions precisely focused on these applications.
