Sensors and
measuring systems are used for recording changes in position (linear or rotary)
and can identify distance, direction of travel and geometrical data.
Shaft couplings must guarantee the exact and precise recording and reproduction
of the measuring pulses. The transmission of torque is not the priority for
these couplings.
The Controlflex shaft coupling
is a precision
coupling that has been developed to meet the mechanical and metrological
requirements of measured value recorders - encoders, rotary transducers
and
tachogenerators. The special design of the function element provides for
great
displacement reserves. It unites a precise and angularly synchronous
transmission of the rotary movement with extremely low restoring forces
during
operation.
The sensitive ball bearings
in the shaft encoders are thus
protected
against mechanical influences. The rotary shaft coupling is compact in
design
and electrically insulated.
Apart from the standard versions
for encoders with full shaft, we are also able to offer special versions
of the Controlflex for
specific customer applications. These include, for example, couplings
with an
expander shaft or customer-specific adapter. In addition, couplings are
available with additional form fit for shaft encoders and limit switches
for
stage technology and elevator technology.
