Nominal torque up to 6.400 kNm

The new Omniflex
from SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG offers high universal shaft misalignment compensation
with compact dimensions. The torsionally stiff and robust couplings have been
developed for maximum torq
ue requirements and for the toughest cycle
operations. The precise couplings are predestined for industrial heavy duty
applications such as press drives, forge rollers, test units for large-scale
gearboxes and applications in process engineering.
The robust
couplings are configured for maximum torque transmission. The performance
spectrum at nominal torque levels ranges from 3 kNm to 6400 kNm.
In conjunction with special spherical bearings, the coupling system offers
high universal shaft misalignment equalisation without restoring forces.
Depending on the size, the precision couplings offer an angular misalignment of
max. 3°, a radial shaft misalignment of max. +/-200 mm and an axial compensation
of max. +/-50 mm.
The coupling design of three discs and two sets of links requires a very
little space.
The couplings offer a high level of
torsional stiffness and work with high precision. Additional robustness of the
couplings make them predestined for the toughest cycle operations and for
applications with very hard impact moments.
Fields of application for the Omniflex are industrial gear boxes, large-scale
gearboxes, press drives, forge rollers, gearbox dynamometers, process
technology, conveyor systems, mixers and stirrers, and many more besides.
